Heather Wallace, The self-proclaimed Princess of Chocolate Pudding, is a wife and mother of five who is amazingly talented when it comes to vacuum cleaner races, cutting bulletin board letters, pouring coffee, and trying to make sure her house does not become overrun by unmatched socks. Her brutally honest, humorous approach to dealing with grief and her ability to share the story of her journey through the loss of her father is refreshing, hilarious, if only slightly terrifying.
Heather has been in youth ministry for eighteen years and is currently the Director of Youth Ministry at Second Presbyterian Church in Little Rock. She is both a speaker and Community Educator at Faith & Grief events. She serves on the Annual Events Committee of the Association of Presbyterian Church Educators. Heather is the co-author of Grief Diaries: Loss of a Parent. A native of the suburbs of Chicago, she attended Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and currently resides in Arkansas with her husband, five children, and one neurotic hound dog.
I would recommend this book be read before you experience such a loss. Laugh with the authors. Get some perspective. When the unfortunate time comes and you experience that loss, re-read the book.
